Thanks to Curtis Business
Products, LogoLink, Pugsley's Library, Coca Cola and many other sponsors
and players, the 2005 Tournament raised approximately
$7,500 for our children's afterschool programs run by Heart House of Dallas. And
that without having a title sponsor - you guys rock!

Pugsley's Library served
up another great dinner for all our hungry tournament goers. Everyone
was delighted to see returning staff from
Pugsley's at 2443 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, Texas 75229. (Walnut Hill
& I-35). Don't forget, you should have received a coupon for 1
free hour of pool at Pugsley's.
Enough grumbling about "I didn't
know" - signup
for our mailing list and you won't be left out. Imagine having to
manually send out emails to everyone on our list. This is THE only
method we use for sending out invitations to register for the next
event. Just do it.

What's a tournament without a
little bit of scandal? A bit of skin, no cart crashes, a
broken hole marker - nah, none of those. At the tournament we
incorrectly (okay, the course did it) identified the Okie Boys as
the last place team. To set the record straight and give honor to
the team which struggled so hard to earn this award, we hereby
declare and do affirm that Harter Ryan's Ensemble Fun Flight
is the official dead last team.
In related news, we are sad to
report that Ryan Yee-Young's Closest to the Pin on #2 is the
closest it has ever come without going in. Matter of fact, we've never
had a hole in one. Condolences good man.
In all, 52 teams had signed
up this year but we trimmed them down to 42 or lower as promised.
Feedback so far suggests that things ran pretty smoothly, though
there are a slew of changes coming for the 2006 edition. Sadly, no
more Okla Fire Drill - but don't worry, there'll be plenty of wacky
fun. We'd love to have YOUR feedback
- send us an email.
