Thanks to eVerge,
LogoLink, Pugsley's Library, Coca Cola, IBM and many other sponsors and
players, the 2004 Tournament raised approximately $7,000 for our children's
afterschool programs run by Heart House of Dallas. Terrific!

Pugsley's Library served
up a enormous hit according to your feedback. We may never be able to
pry the beans or brisket recipes from Willie's hands. Help us say
thanks and invite them back - send a note to the manager or drop by
Pugsley's at 2443 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, Texas 75229. (Walnut Hill
& I-35)
Don't be left out! Signup
for our mailing list to receive an invitation to the 10th
Anniversary WWW to be held June 4th 2005. We guarantee a
blockbuster to celebrate this milestone. And with this kind of
advanced notice you won't have an excuse to miss it.

After much grumbling, we
abandoned our handicapping and turned it over to the course for the
first time. Judging from the scores it seems to be a better system.
But jeez Willie, a 39? And you didn't even show up til 2pm!
Collectively, 47 teams signed
up this year. We feel that 38 teams is the maximum number that can
play without impacting the pace or length of the tournament. Not to
mention the extra carts we bring in. We'd love to hear from you
on this, so send us an email.
Payments! Thank you for all the
prompt payments. The percentage of players using PayPal jumped to a
whopping 63%. For those of you (and you know who you are) that
emailed or called us saying the link didn't work for you - well lets
just say that the problem may not be in the link.
We were a thirsty bunch, cruising
through 65 cases of beer, 40 cases of water, 10 cases of Gatorade and
about 7 machines worth of Margaritas. A big thanks to Texas Freeze,
Coca Cola, Southwest Airlines and Budweiser for quenching our thirst.
