Congratulations
to Robert Morales for finding one heck of a scratch player team,
and snagging first place. It was great to see year 2000 volunteer Julie
Geron back this year, now with her own team that grabbed
first place Net.

The
Oklahoma Fire Drill would have gone to the Grand Keyon's (Rick
Kenyon) team.
However the volunteer staff for that event abandoned their post
mid-way through the tournament. It does however validate their
time statistics - they finished first last year with 28 seconds,
and this year with 26.7. Congratulations Rick, and many
apologies to the rest of the players who were not given a chance
to participate. Anyone interested in volunteering to stay on this
event next year?

Joe Morales has
beaten Jack Hamm's July 20, 1993 previous longest drive record by
74 yards! At 532 total yards driven, you can imagine our surprise,
since the average of the top players in the US PGA Tour is around
251 meters (275 yards). Not even the Twin Wells Ambassador
believed it, but hey, he wasn't there to witness it.
